Did you get some knowledge about these cultures so far, The Sonic God?

So you know Russian? Do you reply to Russian topics?

No no no no no, lol. I meant, I know about how many of the languages are kind of the same but not really and how some of the smaller countries learn about 3 languages so they can communicate and stuff. :) The only thing I can dead in russian is "и" and "д" I know the first one is an "i" sound and the second one, I think, is a "d" sound. :) Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also, a question?

I typed in "blue water" on a translator, and it gave me "открытое море" which when I translated it back, it says "open the water" Is that the way it's supposed to be or is this translator messed up?

The Sonic God
Translators translate words, not grammar. Comparing grammar structures, even in slight variations of the same language, could yield something completely different altogether.

Hunter, the "Blue water" is translated by the translator as "открытое море" which means "open sea". Example: He is living in the open sea.. you see... However I do not know what this has to do with blue water !?

Hunter

"blue water" = "синяя вода"
"открытое море" = "open sea" or more rightly "the high sea"

The Sonic God is right about grammar. This words are similar by their direct means, but frequently the result of translators have no sense.

It would be great if some companies start developing some high-tech translators which can even translate subtle meanings... It is difficult and hardly any people have will strong enough to do this...

You see, that's why I was so confused. I knew what вода meant, but then when I typed "blue" before it, it completely changed it. Thus, I became so confused. :)
