I really must admit that you are fully right! The purpose of my repies theses days was to accumulate posts needed for a red paw. I understand that the content is more important. I really appreciate your remark. Thank you.

If you want a red paw, there is a method for getting one much quicker than what you're doing. I won't mention that here for obvious reasons.

At UGC, people are so desperate to get the Elite Crews and Ultimate ranks that they'll reply to every topic on the board to get to it... but they get bored after a while and eventually leave, due to the pointlessness of this, and seeing that most of my administrators are anywhere from 10,000-20,000 posts... and they've all been there since the beginning, which is what is required to gain the higher ranks to begin with.

Join the messageboard when it is brand new, and post with each topic that is made, keep your personality in check, reply with dignity, and with interesting conversation. Pretty soon, count won't matter to you, just the content of the posts you make. You'll become a more respected member if you just be yourself.

This isn't a race or a contest. It's just something fun. That's all.

Ranks or no ranks, there will be members on a board that believe that high post count is an honourable thing.

Of course, you and I know otherwise. We're just replying endlessly to each other because we're bored.

I wonder if phpBB has an option (not real "clicking" option but somewhere in the code) where you can remove the posts. I think that "Member since:" is enough...

Better yet, keep the paws, remove the post count, keep the registration date. That way you won't know when your next rank will show up.

Unless you are a crazy poster and draw "|" for each post on the wall ;-))))

Hmm, I definitely state that ezBoard has a considerably friendly interface. However there in UGC you have some problems with the avatars and displaying of ranks...

Not really, I've debugged all of that. Must be something wrong with your computer because I've tested UGC on 6 different browsers on 3 operating systems.
