Hello! After an hour or so of picking through the russian sections of this board I finally noticed the english section. Silly me.

Anyway, Im Kassy. Ive been a fan of TLK since it first came out - in fact my mom thinks im crazy because i know the whole movie word perfect. Recently Ive starting doing lion king fan art, and Id be thrilled to know what everyone thinks.

Ive never been very good at introductions, so I'll leave it at that. Sadly, I didnt pay much attention in Russian class back in school so I'll be sticking to the english section.

Элона, I actually dont watch sports, so I dont know how the Lakers are doing this year. :P

Schneider, I didn't really "learn" to draw anywhere, I just practice a lot. I've been drawing Lion King characters since about May of this year, so I have a lot of practice to go before I can stay on model properly.

They're great fun to draw though. I have some new stuff up at my gallery. Please look and tell me what you think.

I liked picture Forgotten Son, it is really very dramatic. I think, it is the best illustration to the book of Chronicle of the Pridelands! Above Spirit Guardian I even have shed a few tears, it so is touching!

That concerning to criticism - in picture "Sunset Love" at Simba very unnatural lick... I mean, if it hardly has slightly opened a mouth it would look more naturally.

Ah, and, i forget - to me has very much liked "Future King&Queen". Kovu so beautiful and strong! Charm!!

*nod* I had never drawn a lion licking anything before, so I wasn't sure how to do it! I'm sure next time will turn out better if I try again.

I usually draw with pencil and paper, scan it, and color in Painter. I sketch in Painter sometimes, but if I am going to do digital inking, I use Paint Shop Pro to do the inking, then go back go Painter to color.

Certainly has! I here for example do "skeleton" of figure in paint (by the way, you too can look my figures on that site, I there under name Cornix: http://fanart.lionking.org/Artists/Cornix/?+hi+++). And then I paint in a photoshop. I for a long time wish to get painter, because it in general more conveniently and more professionally...
