The Morning Report...or which new song would you add to TLK?

I mean... When we see the Special Edition we can find a new song, "The morning report" (taken from the Broadway Musical, I guess) but... do you think it was the "best" song to add to the movie?
I would prefer see the animated version of "They live in you", "Shadowland" would be great too, or "Endless night"... "The morning report", yeah, is a lively song but not the best of the Musical to me...
(I was bored... so this is a boring thought

)

I think Morning report does actually furfill a normal pretty useless part of the movie into a scene with more purpose.
However I would love to see shadowland animated and sung by S Dworskey.

Yeah, it would be wonderful...
Seeing a sad Nala leaving her land... telling goodbye to her mother... I think I can imagine it...

Yeah and understand what she meant by saying "- I left to find help..."
But still would be a real beautiful scene.
But i can't dismiss the fact that the madness of king scar and shadowland belong in order and I don't think the madness of king scar would fit that greatly in a kids movie.

Shadowland and Endless Night would have been better choices for adding a new song to TLK. It also wouldn't have required to hire a child actor, whose voice was nowhere near the same as the original.

Oh, yeah, the new child Simba´s voice.. In Spanish version is so different... well... 10 years after the actor was pretty old for the same role...

Seems all a little obvious.

I was thinking of this after watching some deleted scenes from "Pocahontas" in Youtube. The song "If I never knew you" sung by Smith and the Indian princess under the moon... oh, sad moment... Maybe it would be a longer and slower movie with that scene but... beautiful!

"If only", a new song that will appear in The Little Mermaid-Broadway version.
Someone took his/her time to make this edition with the song and movie scenes, great!
I love the end of the song!!
